In need of Computer Repair or assistance with your devices? Wireless (Wi-Fi) network assistance? Deleted an important file or computer won’t turn on? I have been providing local repairs in the Westchester area for over 20 years. I provide free estimates; and offer two types of billing. Hourly or flat-rate based on your need(s). Generally speaking, the average house call ranges from $75-$150. My business offers a wide range of services including business services and security camera installations. I come to your home or business to provide the service(s) for the fee quoted. Data recovery is the only service that might require you to drop-off the device or I can offer to pick it up and return it to you.
Computer(s) Crashed?
Whether your computer(s) have crashed or you need miscellaneous computer assistance, you are reading the right ad! I fix desktops, laptops, workstations and servers. If your machine crashed and you are seeing a blue screen with an error, or a black screen with or without an error; fear not, I can assist you. If you are able to provide any of the exact error information; I’ll give you a more precise estimate. Generally speaking, these jobs are $75/hr and about 2 hours. If you don’t know much about what caused it; I might have to see it in order to provide a quote. A diagnostics call is $40; which is waived if you choose to proceed with the repair the issue the same day. For example; if a part needs to be replaced but you are unable to provide the information needed to determine what part is causing the problem, I would need to see the machine in person to provide an exact price for you. If you choose not to continue with the repair for any reason such as cost or length of time, the diagnostic visit is just $40.
Wireless Troubleshooting - Speeds & Range Improvements
Many homes and businesses in the area are larger than standard routers were meant for. Who loves buffering (waiting for something to load)? Some clients enjoy having their Wi-Fi outside in their yards on a nice day; while other clients such as businesses need secure wireless to cover much more area than the standard Cable/Phone Company router can cover. If your signal drops or your speed is slower in certain areas of your home or business; I can help. Many clients try to do this themselves; and end up calling us later anyway. For reliability and secure connections, hire a professional.
Lost Important Documents or Photos? I Provide Data Recovery
Often I get calls where the caller doesn’t necessarily want the computer to work again; they just want their files back. If this sounds like your situation, you are in luck. For personal files (meaning home and school only) I charge $199 per device. For business files (businesses of any size or type, including home based and non-profits) I charge $399 per device. If I cannot get your files back; I won’t charge you. Before payment; I will show you a preview of the recovered files. If you also need the computer working again; that might be an additional fee (typically $149 unless parts are needed). At these prices, there is a 2TB size limit (larger than most home\business computers hard drives are).
Security Services
I install, troubleshoot, upgrade, fix and replace security cameras and all their related hardware. I work with cloud-based and non-cloud based systems (this means, if you want to store your documents online you can, or locally, you can). If you want to have your cameras available on your phone(s) 24/7; with optional sensors and alerts for motion, water, smoke, fire, baby crying, glass breaking, dog barks and more - I can take care of everything from parts, install, helping you with installing it on your phone and provide you (and or your employee(s)) with instructions on how to use the software. I offer wired and wireless installations and can discuss the benefits and limitations of both systems with you. At the end of the visit; I will show you how to change your password and give you tips on keeping it secure.
Already Hacked? Cyber Security Services
A couple local businesses have called in situations where they already had information leaked, paid ransomware authors and even had their security and alarm systems completely compromised. This also happened to a home-owner. If you have receiving indication that your devices are compromised (infected), your devices are locked with ransomware, or your passwords have changed – you should give us a call. I can combat almost any attack; trace the source of many, prevent future attacks and provide you with much better hardware to reduce the chances of issues from reoccurring.
Help Installing Holiday Gifts
If you received a gift that you need assistance setting up, I can help. I understand that many electronics are self-installs but there are still some devices that cause problems when interacting other devices, and customers who need assistance for other reasons. I would be glad to assist you with setting up any electronics, including TV’s, Smart-Hubs (such as Amazon’s Alexa, Dot, Show), doorbell cameras and more. Call for assistance.

Forms and Terms of Payment
I accept cash and debit/credit (using the Square reader).
I can also invoice you electronically.
Payment is due upon completion of service before technician(s) leaves; no exceptions.
I do not accept checks, and do not allow payment to be mailed after service.
